Internet Loves the OnePlus 2

Hailing from China, OnePlus 2 is the latest entry into the Android phone marketplace, but can it beat the rivals?



Let's take a look at the specs:

• Qualcomm Snapdragon™ 810 processor
• 4GM LPDDR4 RAM
• Adreno™ 430 mobile GPU
• 64GB eMMC storage
• 3300mAh battery
• 13-megapixel rear camera
• 5-megapixel front camera
• OxygenOS with Android 5.1 Lollipop

Breaking away from Cyanogen, OnePlus appears as if they want to become more than just an alternative to the competition, and actually cut into Apple and Samsung sales with a next-gen phone at a low price point. After all, they're calling the OnePlus 2 a "2016 flagship killer." However, an invite is still necessary to purchase the phone.

The #OnePlus2 is definitely creating an Internet buzz this week. I'd love to get my hands on one, if just to test it out and compare it to my Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
